Weeping Plum Blossom Festival at Nagoya Agricultural Center

The plum garden at the agricultural center was built in 1993. With an area of about 5,000 square meters and about 700 plum trees of about 12 varieties, they bloom abundantly every year from mid-February to mid-March, depending on the weather, it is one of the largest plum gardens in Nagoya and Japan, with unique flowers of white, red and purple-pink double flowers.

The plum is associated with the beginning of spring, because plum blossoms are some of the first flowers to open during the year.

Located in Nagoya Agricultural Center, Nagoya City Aichi Prefecture.

There are about 300 varieties of red plum and also a purplish-pink color that shimmers beautifully against the blue sky of early spring.

It also has about 300 varieties of white plums and when they start to bloom the green branches shine with the beginning of the blossoming of the flowers.

The plum festival always receives many foreign visitors who like to enjoy flowers.
