Around 300 white and pink weeping peach trees bloom on both banks of the Ebi River in Shinshiro City in April, making it a pleasant spot for a leisurely stroll in the warm spring weather.
A group of Kuroboshi, Kakutani, Soegawa Flower Planting Movement residents and volunteers planted the trees 12 years ago in an effort to transform the Kurose area into a peach blossom village. Of these, 300 trees were planted on both banks of the river within a radius of approximately 1 km, creating a beautiful and magnificent landscape.
Typically at the beginning of the month, food and drink stalls will be set up in parking spaces.
