The largest Water Park in Japan is located in Kuwana City in Mie Prefecture.

Nagashima Water Park has 10 types of pool, including the saltwater beach with artificial waves, children’s pools, hot water pool (onsen), 11 slides, one more incredible than the other, the newest one is 25 meters high 188 meters long.

Nagashima Aquatic Park offers shower services, changing rooms, rest areas, emergency room and information center.

All attractions have age, height or weight restrictions, please respect the restrictions of each attraction.

Regulations

People with visible tattoos are not allowed to enter. If you have a tattoo and wish to enter, you must hide the tattoo (with a t-shirt, long sleeves, or otherwise), do not show it otherwise you will be asked to withdraw from the park. It is also not allowed to take any diving equipment, camping, food and drinks.

Note: Nagashima Water Park is open only in summer, from June to September.

Artificial Beach

The artificial beach has an area of 5.000 square meters of salt water with waves and reaches a depth of 1.6 meters.

Family Pool

The Family pool is 100 meters long, 35 meters wide and has a hot spring in the center.

Pool with Obstacles

Floating bridges with logs and stumps that move in the water of the athletics pool.

River

It is a pool where the water flows like a long river with a total length of 300 meters and 8 meters wide. Recommended for those who want to swim and have fun without haste.

Information Center / First Aid

The Aquatic Park offers a first-aid room in case you suffer a minor injury or get sick.

June:

  • from 9:30 to 17:00.

July:

  • from the 1st to the 12th from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm (Saturday and Sunday at the end of the month until 5:00 pm)
  • from the 13th to the 19th from 9:30 to 17:00
  • from the 20th to the 31st from 9:00 to 17:00 (Saturday and Sunday at the end of the month until 18:00).

Agust:

  • from day 1 to day 13 from 8:30 to 18:00
  • 14th and 15th Day Off (closed)
  • from the 16th to the 31st from 8:30 to 17:00

September:

  • from day 1 to day 23 from 9:30 to 16:30
  • from the 24th to the 31st from 9:30 to 16:00

Children from 2 to 6 years old: 1.700 yen

Children from 7 to 12 years old: 3.000 yen
