Korean arrested for assaulting taxi driver in Nagoya

The police received a call from the taxi driver saying that he was being assaulted by the passenger.

The taxi driver was beaten (kicked in the arm) by a 33-year-old drunk Korean (Jo Sung Jae) in Haraike-cho, Nakamura-ku (Nagoya) around 10 pm on December 18.

In addition to the aggression, the Korean got out of the taxi without paying the fare, which was 1,570 yen.

The police arrested Jo when he returned home and, at the interrogation, Jo denied having kicked the taxi driver. But the car’s security camera recorded all the aggression.
